Ok it sounds you are trying to install a custom firmware on your 3.11 officail firmware wich CANNOT be done. you need todowngrade it before you can update it with custom firmware.

why dont you try the pandoras battery trick?
hardmod your battery and make a kagic memory stick.
(Just look around on youtube and you will see what i mean.)

Try to format i, if this does not fix the problem you can always update you firmware. Updating the firmware is the best way to fix the problem, cause games nowadays require a higher version of firmware.

You have over writen the custom firmware, you will need to downgrade and install the custom firmware again. Then update to the latest custom firmware.

Please remember never to use officail sony updates when using custom firmwares.

My psp has a glitch if you go to the home screen and try to go right it pops back instantly wont work please help
try using a different firmware, if you official firmware then try going to ur network update and install the latsest firmware! you network update is located on the very far left of the menu and the very first one!

if you CFW then i suggest not updated Official FW and find and better CFW!

if you dont have wireless then try googling sony psp update and look for a newer firmware. amke sure its newer then the one you have. go to system settings then system info to see ur firmware!. then when you get the file put the file it self in a folder named UPDATE make sure its all caps and put it in your psp memory card located in the psp/game folder.

Have you upgraded the firmware? if not go to sony's site and download the firmware and from there load it to your memory stick and update. this should resolve the issue. you can also update the system if you are wireless and can get internet access on your psp. if this does not work get in toutch with sony thay will advise you wether it can be fixed or if you need a new on..

A psp game wont load when u click on play
If your running custom firmware, change your driver from M33 to one of the others except normal. ISOFS may not work either. Also if your running custom firmware check your cold boot's configuration, it has a region faker built in there. If you haven't cracked the PSP you might need an official firmware update which I DO NOT recommend, instead look at getting your PSP custom firmwared.

you could try updating the firmware to the latest through the sony website? or download direct through the psp that way the game wont need to update, hope that helps.

Tony hawk project 8 wont load in psp
it might be that you need to update your firmware.

as newer games come out, they require features unlocked in the PSP.
the update of the PSP firmware usually lets you play newer software.

if the PSP loads the disk ok, goto the games XMB menu, and goto the option below UMB Disc.
It should say something like PSP™ Update ver. #.##

Psp firmware latest version has updated, after that my game can't to play as before, how to restore back my original psp firmware version as original or any guide to resolved my problem
Try a restore default settings. If you are updated to the latest official firmware and trying to run a game from a memory stick it wont work. As official firmware wont support playing backup games from the memory stick
