Thier is a loose conecttion located in tuner section.try to check your arial terminal, maybe its loose. or change your matching transformer. if you have any back ground in electronic repair, try to resolder components near tuner section specially AGC sections.

good day madam, i dnt have manual for that kind of model. but try to find in menu on OSD if their is DNR(dinamic noise rediuser) that is under audio ajustment. if non then thier must be an ajustment inside your tv.

Volume modulates but is too low on max

Are you turning up on the tv itself? If you have a cable box, there is a separate volume that needs to be turned up too!!

I want to know how to tune my car audio system without making my woofer clip

Start by turning the amp volume down, clipping is not from tuning its from too small and amp then turning the volume too high or a very distorted signal, this then causes the amp to produce high levels of distortion which cases damage to amps/speakers. Make sure the sub frequency is around 60-80hz and the volume is no more then 3/4 of the way up. You may also have a bad signal from your radio or bad RCA cables but I would start with the amp gain first...

Jl audio 1000/1 low voltage -keeps shutting off at high volume

You should definitely upgrade the power wire to the sub amp to 4 gauge -absolutely your choking your amp its starving for current-poor thing is starving !!!!!!!

No Sound Issues

Try the audio out. Run the audio to a receiver to see if the audio is there. If it is, then I'd leave it hooked up to the receiver and save yourself some money. If there is not any low level audio out then I'd fix the set. The only Sony set I've ever seen that was not worth fixing was a 32" model from the early 1990's that had bad picture tubes after only 5 years. I am a Sony factory trained tech. Good Luck!

Scratchy noise

you can go to radioshack and get TV TUNER CLEANER, spray it into that troublesome potentiometer amd cycle it while off several times and then try it again. If not the potentiometer may have to be replaced but I believe radioshack may have one thats a near perfect replacement. hope that helps

WOW never heard this one . You might check the volume down button on the tv to see if it is depressed in . What is the model # and do you clean the picture tube with windex ? Maybe some of it has seeped down onto the control board and has gummed up the volume down button. Good luck

Volume not working

if you are connecting the tv through RCA cables, then you are not plug in right the red and white cables that are standard for audio... like the yellow cable that its a standard for video signal..

check if that seems to be the problem..
