It may be caused by other mechanical issues. try to turn off the printer, press and hold the power button for a few seconds. Try to remove and reconnect the imaging drum, then turn on the printer and after that, try to remove the cartidge again

if you can remove the colored cartridge, try to removei it first, before trying to remove the black one. If you are still unable to get it out, you may need to check with a service personnel to take it out for you to avoid possible damaged. However, I would suspect that you may need to replace parts like the drive assembly. Another thing is to try to engage the black cartridge by printing a test page and calibrate the printer afterwards, then see if you can remove the cartridge after that.

steps for removing and replacing the toner cartridges:
-before removing the toner cartridges, disconnect the A/C power cable from the back of the system & remove the printer's top cover
-rotate the securing lever upward to unlock the toner cartridge
-lift the cartridge out of the chassis, each toner housing and cartridge is color-coded and labeled for easy identification of toner cartridge color locations
-just reverse the previous steps to replace the toner cartridges
Good luck, and hope this helps.

the toner in the cartridge is a powder and if there is high humidity it sometimes clumps. So remove the toner cartridge give it a shake and replace it. Give that a try. The computer toner estimators aren't always correct, especially if you have a refilled cartridge, and most are unless it was the cartridge you originally received with the new printer.

I have a Konica Minolta Magicolor 1650en. When replacing color toner, I managed to install magenta and yellow, following menu prompts, but when I try to install Cyan, the cartridge doesn't...

I had a similar problem in that after changing one of the cartridges (I bought a whole set), the message "cannot rotate cartridge" appeared. I tried pressing the cartridge in more firmly and may have caused the carousel to rotate a little in the process. I cycled the power which seemed to clear the error message and allowed me to select the next cartridge to change, but upon opening the door to change it, was unable to remove the old one as it was positioned a little too high. I eventually cleared the problem by manually rotating the carousel by pressing in and holding the carousel release (see arrow) mmgazette.jpgwhile rotating the carousel downward slightly, to line the cartridge up as it appears in this picture. Then powered it back up and was able to do the normal cartridge replacement procedure for the remaining cartridges without further error messages.

How do you remove the other cartridges from the Epson Aculaser C1100? The Cyan cart is at the rear and easily accessable. I cannot see any levers, etc to access other cartridges and the download setup does...

On the left hand side is a lever. Pull down door 'A' and on the Left hand side you will see the arrow indicating the toner guide placement.
Directly to the left of this is a slot. Insert a biro (screwdriver or whatever fits) into it and push the lever UP to allow free rotation of the drum assembly.

My Dell printer 5110CN will not print black, changed toner cartridge, and fuser,

There are design flaws in the "powder feeder" that sits bellow the black toner. There is no way to repair. There is a spring that burst after uniforms 250 000 prints.

DELL 5110CN 093-426? What error is this?

093-426 is a "black toner replace soon" error message. first make sure that you're using a dell-branded toner cartridge (you can order online here: www.dell.com/supplies) & you can try reseating the black toner cartridge.

Dell 5110 004-310 reset printer error

This may not solve your problem but it did mine when I got the "reseat cartridge" error. I had inadvertently ordered the cartridge for the 5100cn, which looks exactly the same as the 5110cn and actually fits if you order the generic version (the Dell 5100cn cartridge looks like the 5110cn but doesn't quite fit).

So, first make sure that you ordered the 5110cn cartridge. (And if you need two opened 5100cn cartridges, I've got them up on ebay :( !!!!)

Error C50 on Lexmark X6170 printer

The ultimate permanent fix for the x6170 printer would be to purchase new cartridge snap-down levers (the levers that snap down inside the dell printer to hold the cartridges, blue for color and black for black). If you purchase snap down levers for a Lexmark printer series X5100 or X6100 or Z55 or Z65, the little guide peg inside the snap lever would work with an unmodified 83 and 82 Lexmark cartridge. All Lexmark did for Dell to make the Dell unique, was to put special Dell snap levers on the printer. I considered breaking off the little guide peg on the snap lever, but decided against it as it appears to help hold the cartridge in alignment

Manually Removing Toner for magicolor 2400W

1.  Hold down the Cancel button for 10 seconds or longer.

2.  With the Cancel button still held down, also simultaneously hold down the Rotate Toner button for 10 seconds or longer.

3.  When all LED indicators are blinking rapidly, release both the Cancel and Rotate Toner buttons.

4.  Then hold down the Rotate Toner button again for another 10 seconds or longer.

5.  The Cyan toner cartridge moves into the proper position, so it can be removed.

6.  Remove and/or replace the Toner Cartridge if necessary.

7.  Open and close the covers. Each time you do this, another toner cartridge moves into the proper position, so it can be removed and/or replaced (in this order: cyan, black, yellow, magenta).
