The macro switch is on the far left of the camera, near the USB slot. Slide it away from the flower and toward the mountain to take it out of macro mode.

When I try to turn my flash on it says macro mode, What is this and how do I fix it?

Macro mode is for taking pictures of subjects very close to the camera. In this mode the flash is disabled.

Without knowing the model of your Digital Concepts camera I can't tell you how to take it out of macro mode. If there's a button on the back marked with a flower icon, press it. Otherwise look in the menu.

How to use the macro mode in a digital camera?

Macro mode in digital camera is used to take close up shots. For example you wanted to take a photograph of a flower as a close shot (less than 15 Cms / 6 inches) then we use this mode. Just change the mode to macro mode by pressing the macro button once and then its regular photoshoot. But remember to turn it off before you take regular photographs, else the regular long shot photographs will be distorted.

When i try to turn my flash on it says Macro Mode

You're in macro mode and the flash won't function. Check your manual to find out how to get out of macro mode. Most cameras have a button or a dial with a picture of a flower representing macro mode. Find that and change it.

I cannot get super macro mode

Turn the dial- the one that lets you select a mode. You have to be in certain modes to allow for super macro.... (I have a powershot S2) Try AV or manual, or a couple of others. There are a few that will not allow super macro. That's your problem. Good luck!

Use of macro digital feature

hi,let me just inform u that the macro mode is only for outdoors. So on the side of the camera u will find a sliding switch.Just slide it to the opposite direction to turn off the macro mode.Since u wanted to take pictures of jewelry pieces, turn on the flash if u have one and then take a closeup shot with good lighting conditions. If its too bright then use only the flash,if u r not satisfied with the quality then use only lights and then take a pic.Still face any prob plz get back to me.

Focus

Your camera has the ability to shoot Macro and Super Macro, although in some Dial Modes, you can't use Macro.

To engage the Macro mode, press once the button on the left side of the lens/camera that looks like a Flower. To engage the Super Macro mode, press and hold the same button for more than one second.

Macro mode range 3.9 in. - 1.6 ft
Super Macro mode range is 0 in. - 3.9 in.
To cancel Macro mode, press the Flower icon button once.
Zoom levels are limited, and you will know that when the zoom bar turns yellow. This means the zoom is not available at that zoom level.
