With vox unit off, hold the on/off buttons down at the same time. that puts the unit in pairing mode (the light will blink red/green/red/green). your phone will recognize a unit in pairing mode. it asks for a code. i took a chance and typed 0000 (zero) four times on my phone, and it took it. problem solution found on yahoo answers. code solution found in my lucky brain.

Headset

it might be that the speaker/buzzer of your phone is already busted or perhaps just a lose connection. Let a phone technician inspect it. It can also be that the phone is locked to its headset state, this means that the phone always reads that the headset is connected, in this case just restart your phone. Be sure to check also if the profile is not set to headset. These are the possible causes i assume but i think its more on the hardware problem.
