Ibought a camera sentry Bushnell serial number920002571 I lost my pass word so I cannot use no more every thing is lock, Is it a way to reset the camera and tel me how, My email is ([email protected]) my name is Lorraine Picard.

Normally you have to send it in to Bushnell and have them do it for a fee but in the past I used the following to reset a similar Bushnell trail cam and it may work for you:

1. Turn camera on and wait for the password screen.

2. Press and hold the enter button until the camera switches to the 5 digit password mode. "Trail Sentry cams will not indicate a 5 digit mode on the screen, but it will show "-----".

3.Press enter to confirm 5 digit mode.

4. Enter the 5 digit code "66214, then press enter. *Note it will accept a 5th digit.*

5.Camera should display "PASS" and go into the operating mode.
From here you can program a new password from the setup mode.

the first time the camera is used the code should be 0000 unless previously changed,try removing and reinstalling the batteries,this hould start your set up again.
press and release the power button and wait for 4 H's,"HHHH" to appear,this may give you another chance to use 0000 or whatever you chose as your password.press enter after each digit,then press enter again.the indicator should display PASS.if it displays ERRO then it is the wrong password.there is a password recovery service provided by Bushnell at 1-800-423-3537 and press option 2,you will need to provide your serial number to the representative.

You need to go to the Bushnell website for the procedure to reset your password.

when yo see the key icon blinks hold enter and then push enter and put in 66214 and the camera mode will come on

Your Bushnell Trail Sentry 11-9200 may need to be reset. Reset it by pulling one of the batteries out partway, insert a new or empty SD card, and put the battery back in place.

I have received hundreds of e-mails on this password problem. to many to reply to so i will post how to gear up all of us trophy takers..

1. TURN ON UNIT AND WAIT FOR THE SCREEN TO SAY PASSWORD

2. PRESS AND HOLD THE ENTER BUTTON UNTIL THE CAMERA SWITCHES INTO THE 5 DIGIT PASSWORD MODE,

##NOTE## SENTRY CAMERAS WILL NOT INDICATE A 5TH DIGIT MODE ON THE SCREEN BUT WILL SHOW
"_ _ _ _"

3. NOW PRESS ENTER TO CONFIRM 5 DIGIT MODE

3A. THE CODE IS "66214" FOLLOW THE PASSWORD ENTRY PROCEDURE AND PRESS ENTER AFTER THE LAST DIGIT "4"

4. CAMERA SHOULD NOW SAY PASS AND YOU CAN NOW CONTINUE TO PROGRAM A NEW PASSWORD YOU WONT FORGET THIS TIME

is there anyother way to reset a password without sending it backto
bushnell fepair shop? Heck its deer season and I need it now.
