Depending on the type of voicemail you have, you''ll have to login to the admin mailbox. That's done by pressing your voicemail key or intercom 777. If you have a Partnermail VS the admin mailbox is 99 with the default password of 1234.
If you mave a Partner Messaging System the admin mailbox is 0 with a default password of 1234 or 123456.
Once your into the admin mailbox press 9 for admin programming. 3 for greetings, 1 for the auto attendant #.press 1 for the day menu or press 2 for night menu and 6 to modify the menu. press *# to skip selector codes.Press 1 to record your new greeting 1 to stop recording. Press *# to approve or 21 to re-record hang up when finished.

How do I change the Mail Greeting recording

For a Partner 18D phone the process is a little different depending on the VM version you have. In general you press Intercom 777(gets you into voicemail) enter your password(default is 1234 or 123456). This is where the various system commands change. Listen for Mailbox Options or Greetings option. Press that button and you can setup, change or delete greetings.

How do I change the voice mail greeting on my Avaya Partner 18 ?

I'm kinda new here, but why doesn't anybody say WHAT SYSTEM THEY HAVE????? It's kind of like saying I got a GM car. Uh..... Corvette or is it a Lumina?

ANYWAY, I'm presuming a Partner.

You better hope the previous guys left you the password.

Go to a station, dial 777 to get to the VM.
99# should prompt you for the password. Try 1234 or 1111.
If you get in, just listen for the prompts to guide you.
Good Luck

Ringer for Lucent Partner18D

Are you trying to change if it rings or how it sounds when it rings?

The phone you have (Partner 18D) can be used on several different Avaya phone systems that all program differently. To change when it rings, this would need to done in the system programming (not the phone) All the manuals are avaialble on Avaya's web site but you need to know which system you have before you can start searching. www.avaya.com
