To obtain this code, you get the serial number on the back of the radio and the vin of the car and call your local dealer

you need to contact the manufacturer of the vehicle and tell them the vin number and they can give you the code ( you could pay a fee for this info ) this solution only works if the stereo is an original fitment to this vehicle.

Just put new battery in my 2001 Saturn and now I can't get my stereo to play. Please help

If it is a factory stereo, you have to call a Saturn dealer and they will give you a code to unlock.I don't know if the automatically tell you how to do it so you may have to ask.Write it down too because it will happen every time the battery gets disconnected and sometimes it needs to be even though they aren't working on your battery.Good luck! You need to get the serial number from the side of the stereo which should be something like Mxxxxxx (the x being numbers).
I can get your code for you if you post the stereo serial number here.

My Jeep stereo is missing the adatpar with the wires within the car being loose.. I have no stereo due to the fact i need to know how to fix it.. I dont know what wires go where i have the stock stereo but...

there is two connectors that plug into the stock radio, one is white and one is black,if someone has cut yours off,the best thing you could do is visit a local salvage yard and tell them you need the two radio connectors ,tell them when they cut them out to leave you about four inches of wire from each connector.
then take them home and your color codes are all there and the same.

Its a 10 or 15 Fuse never 5 that is too darn small and depending on your car I can pull the diagram for ya. Usually the fuse is the Common/ignition switch.. I hope this helps as I do not know what type of car you putting this into.

i've also ran into this problem. the only way to get the code is by going to the dealers. they'll take out the stereo and get the numbers off the back and get the code from the manufactor. they might not tell you that but thats what they'll do. i don't know what they will charge you. i just bought another stereo and put it in myself. sorry, i know it's not the answer you were looking for.
