The C330 is designed to work with SD cards, not with SDHC cards. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Inserted 4G memory card...says memory card is full...when I try to format the card, get filesys error e00100.....

The C330 uses MMC and SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into SD slots, they are electronically incompatible and won't work. You need to go with cards 2GB and smaller.

My KODAK C315 Digital Camera displays" Filesys error e00100 " every time i want to format my 2GB SD-Card, so i just can`t use the internal memory

Are you sure this is not an SDHC card? SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but many cameras won't work with the SDHC (high capacity) cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

I purchased a new memory card for my kodak easy share c530 camera and it will not format it. I keep getting an error message filesys error e00100.

Check the specifications of the camera. The card may be an SDHC which may not be compatible with the camera. SDHC is relatively new and will not work with most older cameras

Filesys error e00100 when attempting to format a Scandisk 2.0 gb memory card.

Hi ,Welcome

  • Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
  • 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  • 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  • 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  • 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  • 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

It says the memory card needs formatting but when i go to format it this error occurs, FILESYS ERROR e00100

The Kodak Z612 only accepts standard SD cards up to 2GB. As you rightly point ot the physical charactreristics are identical, its the internal format of the card that defines SDHC.

Standard SD cards use FAT - which has a 2GB limit.
SDHC cards use FAT32 - which has a limit of 32GB.

Stick with 2GB or smaller standard SD cards.
