Question about Bosch Nexxt WTMC 3300 Electric Dryer
Welcome to FixYa.
In respone to your post..."all lights are on but pressing the start button nothing happens, a repair guy came before and said that the control panel would need to be replaced but can I do this myself " I`ll begin with saying it is most likely a component you could change by yourself...with a little guidance you can find here of course.
I also would like to question the issue of the unit needing the control board though. I say this for two reasons, One...in my experience as an authorized Bosch service tech. it is very rare...secondly, it is all too easy to point to the electronic controls in modern appliances as the problem.
I don`t disagree the controls do fail, just that it is typically only a symptom to another problem and replacing the control may only fix it temporarily or not at all.
Here`s what I`d suggest you do before dishing out nearly $200 - $350USD for a control you may or may not require.
**Unplug the dryer from the wall or turn off the breaker before servicing the dryer...safety first of course**
If you`re mechanically inclined at all it won`t be too bad...if you`re reluctant or have doubts, you can email me at email@example.com and I can send you brief "how to" windows media videos to service the dryer.
You`ll need to remove the top and the back panel of the dryer to check the components which may cause these symptoms, the hi-limit cut out and the emergency shut off switch.
The emergency shut off is this...( it`s designed to shut the dryer off in the event of overloading or a broken belt )
make sure the black button is pushed all the way to your right...from the back.
As for the hi-limit safety/cut out...
Try resetting the red button in the center of the hi-limit/safety and try the dryer.
Both of these are shown here but require removing the rear panel as I alluded to previous.
There is also a possibility of a wire broken or loose at the second hi -limit thermostat at the lint screen housing...it also requires the back to be removed as well as the drum assembly.
Try the first two suggestions before we move forward in regards to the alternate issues of wires etc.
Let me know how you make out or what you find. Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.

I appreciate your inquiry, Cody!
I see that your Frigidaire dryer is not operating after you hit the start button and it clicks. It is possible that your control panel or wiring harness could be causing this issue with your dryer. You may need to perform a reset on your dryer and you can do that by disconnecting power from your dryer for at least ten minutes. If this does not correct your issue I would seek assistance from a professional technician for a proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
