Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error uL is displayed when the machine/motor control detects an off-balance load, and is steady on while the washer runs a mini-cycle to rebalance the load. It clears if mini-cycle successfully rebalanced the load. If the mini-cycle is unsuccessful, uL will flash until the door lid is opened, allowing you to view and redistribute the load. Unplug the washer and open the top & check if 4 semi-circular balls require greasing. If they are fine then the issue seems to be with these suspension rods going bad & should be replaced, it comes in a pack of four and you can
buy them from this link. You can click on this link to download the repair manual for your washer. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

I'm getting a "UL" (Unbalanced Load) code all the time, it is level and always happens with 11 minutes left in the cycle. What is the problem? Is the tub bearings out? Why is grease leaking?

This definitely sounds like a new bearing is required. It is not unusual to see grease leaking of the bearing has been damaged or is worn out. If it is banging, making loud noises or shaking the machine violently then the bearing is usually the problem

LG Tromm washer wont spin through the spin cycle and reads error ue. I have tried to balance the load several times and still get the same error.

This error generally happens when people try to run a bulky load, like a coat, rug, pillow, etc., using a high speed spin. For these loads, choose the low speed spin. After the cycle completes, if you think the clothes are too wet, power up the machine again but instead of choosing a cycle, just push the spin speed button until it shows the next higher spin speed (usually about 14 minutes will show on the display) and push start. The machine will usually be able to get to a faster speed now, as the clothes have some of the water spun out of them from the earlier low speed spin, allowing the machine to reach a higher spin speed without the Unbalance Error code showing up. Of course, you want to make sure the machine is on a solid floor with all the legs adjusted properly also.

My Kenmore Elite Oasis washer unbalanced signal seems to be very sensitive. Only after several tries of readjusting the load to get it really even that the washer will spin without stopping. I made sure...

If the washer throws an UL error code with out any clothes in the washer then the issue must be concerned with the mechanical alignment inside the machine or a bad CCU.

The most common problem which can cause this is some sort of mechanical hinderance which does not allow the basket to move freely.

The suspension system which holds the basket in its place might be faulty and causing the unbalancing. In this model i think there are plastic ring at the bottom of the basket . Even if they are worn out or moved out of position it may cause the UL error code you are facing

In the Spin cycle, after 9 minuts, it will stop with a "UL".

"UL" means "Unbalanced Load" - make sure the washer isn't overloaded first or if you are doing rugs, blankets, or lots of jeans, split the load. You can also try running an empty or light load and see how the machine behaves.

If you still have the problem, you may have some issues with the drum bumpers, etc., but try the easy things first.

Every load Ul code in spin

HI,. this codes represents a control board fault. you will need to replace the Machine and motor control board.

This board is a all in one unit. it controls the basic logic points and the motor as well. It is damaged.
