Question about Garden
This is a common characteristic of modest sized band saws. If the problem has been increasingover time with everything the same (same blade, same tension, same height adjustment, same guide bushing settings, same material) then it's time for a new blade or resharpening, or at least a good blade cleaning. However, you might be able to improve things by increasing the blade tension. Or you might use a blade with bigger teeth when cutting thicker material. If you have to push pretty hard to make the cut, it could be dull, or the blade has too small of teeth for the material you are cutting. Lots of teeth in contact, means you have to push harder to get the right pressure on each tooth, which means more blade deflection. Plus the gullets (space between the teeth) might be too small to accommodate enough sawdust. good luck
