SOURCE: i lost the batt to my pro point tasco is it the

Not from what I'm seeing on Google. It's CR2032. It's like the CR2025 but more powerful and about twice as thick from what I remember.
Also I'm seeing reports of tasco pro points using 2xCR2032.
Here's an approximate guide:
CR2025 1.5mm thick
CR2032 3mm thick.
Obvioulsly the spring is in the way so the space looks smaller, so to get a better idea, push the spring in so you can see how much space there is in there.
Try googling "tasco pro point cr" and see if you can find the one that looks like yours.

My cross hairs do not move when i adjust my sights. i bought a laser bore sighter and the laser points in the same exact spot no matter how far i turn my adjustments nor do my cross hairs move.

This happens a lot during bore sighting, - no shock to the scope to jar the cross hairs. So take your screwdriver and use the handle - rap the scope or better just tap it. Not hard enough to bend/dent it but jar it so things can move if need to.

You seem to have an older model.. Still worth over $50..

How do i sight this scope in, say for 100 yds what are all the sighting knobs for...?

You sight it in by firing at a target. Place the target at 100 yds distance if that is where you want it set for. Then you use the knobs to adjust the aiming point so the bullets strike where you place the crosshairs. This can involve a lot of shooting, and it is best to use a bench so you don't get confused by inaccurate handheld shots. Once sighted in, there may be other knobs to adjust for different distances or windage. These should be set to a central or neutral position while doing the initial siting, or maybe set to the distance you are siting in. My sights don't have such luxuries, so I am not sure how they work.

Zeroing scope adjustment

First, adjust wind-age and elevation to center or zero position. Remove your scope from the gun and make sure that the scope mounts are aligned, this is critical. Purchase an alignment tool is necessary. Then remount the scope. The scope should seat in the mounts without binding. If it does bind, the mounts are not aligned.
Start sighting in at close range,10 to 30 yards, then move out to 100 yards.
