Question about Computers & Internet
This depends on how your IT dept has blocked access (there are many ways of blocking site/content/IP access). Try the below (I am assuming you are using Windows XP as your OS)
(all of these when you are at work, not sure if you are using a desktop or laptop)
1. Open command prompt and check ipconfig /all (note down the IP for your DNS servers; you should have at least 1 if not two. Make sure you note down the first IP)2. Go to network connections (from Control Panel), if you are using LAN (using an ethernet cable) then go to Local Area Connection properties or if you are using Wireless then go to Wireless Network Connection properties3. Under general tab, select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) & click on properties4. Under general tab, below you'll find an option 'use the below DNS server address' - select this option5. Under preffered DNS server add 22.214.171.124. Under Alternate DNS server add the IP address you noted in step #17. Restart your system and try using Youtube
Hope this helps. Sorry, if the steps were too detailed out.
