Question about Sony Ericsson Cell Phones
Hi, what they are telling you is totally wrong, if the phone is working apart from the screen then the problem is with the connection with the screen, all flip, slide phones and all laptops and notebooks that have 2 halves that move then their is a thin ribbon that connects the screen with the circuit board in bottom half of phone, and over time this ribbon becomes brittle and the little then wires inside it, their that small you can not see them without magnifying them, one of these or more has broken and this is why you loose the connection with the screen, usually you will get either a white screen or a screen that has several colors on it or a blank screen but the phone itself is still switching on and working but you just cant see the screen.
the best thing to do is take your phone into an idependant phone shop you know those smaller ones not the big branded ones take it in their and ask them to look at it for you they will tell you what i just told you plus they should be able to fit the new part whilst you wait or the next day at the latest.
now as this is such a common fault with all flip/slide/rotating phones/laptops/notebook/portable dvd players etc etc, this makes the part cheap to buy and cheap to have fitted as this is the most common fault with these types of products, the smaller phone shop will charge you a small fee for doing this and they wont need to send your phone of to do and it will solve your problem.
let me know if you need further assistance ok
plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks
