The thermostat is solid state, it is incorporated into the control board. You can however locate the temperature probe which goes into the left side of the back of the control board and goes into the top of the oven under a cover near the air pressure switch and high limit thermostat. To locate follow the small aluminum tube coming from your exhaust stack, that will lead you to the air switch which is next to where the temperature probe enters the heat exchanger compartment.

I would suggest the limit switch sometimes located on the metal vent tube inside the dryer. The metal tube/pipe that exits out either the side or rear is the one I am referring to, has a high limt switch attached with 2 screws, sometimes this causes an open circuit.

YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE SENSOR LOCATED IN THE OVEN USUALLY AT THE TOP NEAR THE BROIL ELEMENT.IF THIS DONT TAKE CARE OF IT YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE THE CLOCK/THERMOSTAT. DO THE SENSOR FIRST THIS IS THE CHEAPEST PART TO CHANGE.

Gas oven not reginiting automatically

Igniter glows, then shuts off without igniting gas - the problem is probably with defective coils (black, located on top of the gas valve). It is recommended to replace all coils (usually two or three) if found defective.

Note: Sometimes the whole gas valve may be defective, thus not letting the gas out. However, this problem is not common.
