Teak does no longer carry this specialty item. They do not stand behind their product and deserve to be bypassed in the future.

SOURCE: where do I get replacement

Hi, it all depends where your location is at. You can go to any radio store or super market that sells house hold appliances to help you get the battery for your radio.

You can also go to the website of the radio manufacturers for help by ordering for the battery online. I guess that will help or simply call their customers care line for help. You can get that when you get into the site or you search through google search .

Hope it helped.

Thanks for using fixya.....

Can I dissasemble a BP-210N battery pack and refill it?

You could do this absolutely, however with the cost of the batteries needed and the knowledge needed to safely solder to batteries terminals it is more cost effective and safer to purchase from Ebay.

Doesn't hold a charge any more.

Even rechargeable batteries need to be replaced periodically. If it is under warranty have the place where you purchased it help you. If it is not under warranty and it has a lot of charge/recharge cycles on it then open it up and remove the battery and take it to be tested first before you purchase a replacement battery.

Cobra HH 40 charger specs

I have a Cobra HH-40 CB radio and am charging it as I type. The included charger is rated at 16V DC, 100mA. The pattery pack charges 10 AA rechargable batteries (the manual specifies NiCd, but you can also safely use NiHM). The 12V DC car charger included cannot be used to charge the battery pack, but can power the radio.

Will not work on battery

UNPLUG THE RADIO !!!!!!!!!
Try removing the battery cover and remove and disconnect the battery.
Reconnect the battery and replace the battery cover.
Now, plug the radio into the wall electrical outlet and wait, the blue light on the radio top should start flash and will flash for about 10 minutes and then stop flashing.
Leave the radio plugged in for about 16 to 24 hours to completely charge the battery. For the first three or four times, completely drain the battery and completely recharge for 16 to 24 hours, this will condition the battery .... mine works like a dream. GR
