Question about Kenmore Oasis HE 27082 Top Load Washer
This is to Jsrock516, I have the model 11027042603. Washer runs through cycles but sometimes will beep continously while flashing through each soil level light, during this time washer can not be stopped but will finish all wash cycles. Sometimes when starting the washer the dial knob lights will light up in a circle not where you select. I am confused if the part I need is the User Interface #8564372 $166.76 or the Control Unit Assembly #W10155109 $143.20 both prices from Sears.com 05/29/08. I have a 15% off parts coupon and want to order the correct part. Reply here or email email@example.com Thanks!
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. More than likely this is a User Interface problem. If the washer functions normally, but randomly alarms and gives erroneous front panel readings this is a typical symptom of an Interface problem. I would assume the Control Unit Asembly as being good if there are no fault codes being generated. It sounds like you have an interface keypad that's acting up and causing some of the keys to become stuck giving erratic indications. This is a common problem with this washer and I've seen it many times. I hope this solves your problem. Let me know if you need assistance in replacing the Control Unit.

Hello Mike - Typically, if the water temperature combination is not appropriate for the cycle selected, the status lights will blink and signal will beep 3 times. Try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. Wait roughly ten minutes and turn on the washer. Select a normal cycle and verify if the washer continues to beep. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, your appliance could be experiencing a communication error with the control board or could have a wiring failure. I would suggest contacting an experienced service technician to determine the precise cause.
