Same amount of water as rice. Either in small cups or by weight. 140 grams per person approximately. Leave lid on tightly for 20 minutes after program has finished for the rice to steam.

Is this 10 cups raw or cooked rice?

Hi Jane:
Don't have any info about your question but,
if you start with 10 cups of raw (uncooked) rice you will end up wit a LOT of cooked rice.
I'd suggest that you re-read the instructions for the recipe or whatever it is you're up to.
Hope it's a raisin rice pudding.
MMMMMMMMM.

How do i adjust any recipe and cook time to a small capacity slow cooker ?

the proportions are mainly determined by the cups of rice you choose. Everything else will come down by the same proportion.
Check the proportion of rice and water in this Tefal manual. http://www.tefal.com.au/NR/rdonlyres/BF9AF712-D4CF-4BA1-B3C4-1A2837447ACF/11607/RK4008NewComfortRiceCookerii.pdf

Purchased Durabrand Rice Cooker model HRC 18G working fine Is there a User manual for this cooker? All that is needed is ratio of water to rice including plain long grain and Basmati rice for 1 - 4...

Instructions quoted from the Durabrand Rice Cooker model HRC 18G manual...... 1 cup of uncooked rice rice will make about 2 cups of cooked rice. Add rice to the inner pot. Maximum four cups uncooked rice for the model. Many varieties of rice can be used including basmati, wild rice, arborio risotto, saffron rice and long grain rice. Whole grains, such as barley can also be prepared with the rice cooker, follow instructions on the package.

For every cup (160ml) of raw rice, add 1-1/2cups of water. For stickier rice add slightly more water, for fluffier rice use slightly less water.

When your rice is cooked, the cooker will automatically switch to the warm function and the yellow warm light will turn on. The cooker will stay in the warm function untill is disconnected from the wall outlet. The cooker will keep the rice warm 158F - 212F

Hope this helps, its quoted right out of the manual I have for my cooker

3 cup ricecooker and steamer

your cooker can only cook about 1 1/2 cups of rice(raw) add 1 cup rice to 1 1/2 ( 1/3 if youlike dryer rice) water , you should have a lever, push down to cook it will pop up when the rice is finished allow about 4 min to let the steaming stop

to steam you need a steamer basket or the fan folding type, it should be about 1/2 inch off the bottom of the cooker add about 1/2 cup water( time will depend on what your steaming)
