Try to get in touch with a nissan dealer, they will ask for the vin number of the car and the serial number of the radio, this serial number is located on the rear of the radio so it must be removed.

I have recently bought a Nissan Micra 1997 and was told the Radio does not work because the Code was removed. How do i get the Code that make's it work.

If this is a factory-installed radio, you should be able to retrieve the code through the Nissan dealership. Be sure to bring the VIN number of your car and perhaps some proof of purchase of it to prove ownership. This service is likely to cost something.

hi there
this happens with all new vehicles it is a security feature so if someone steals the radio they cant use it the only way to get the code is to take it to a nisan dealer you will have to show proof you are the owner and they in most cases will charge a fee to unlock it have a wonderful day thank you

Just bought nissan almera 53 reg and need radio code, don't have manual

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

I have recently bought a ford puma 1998 reg it keeps coming up with code so i have the code here but it wont let me put the code in as it has a 5 on the screen how can i cancel that off or enter the code...

his normally happens if wrong codes have been entered previously.

The solution is to leave the radio SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for an hour or two and it should automatically reset itself.

Make sure you have the correct code.

If there is any doubt about the code , remove the radio from the dashboard and post a new question with the SERIAL NUMBER which will be found on a label on the radio casing.

Removal instructions can be found here

I bought a used Mercedes and the previous owner replaced the battery causing the radio to rest. I need the code to get it working but they don't have it. Any suggestions?

If you have the details of where the car was serviced or bought they (or a mercedes dealer) can give you the code as long as you can prove you are the owner of the car (sometimes for a fee)
I had this problem before but the dealers gave it to me
