You would be best to DIN conector to ISO, If you go on eBay and look for you car model and add ISO adapter on the end. this adaptor will make all the connections and wires easier to connect. this will put your renault wires into the Euro & US ISO.

no car audio installers in you towN?
if you are DIY, then read the FSM.. its all there, every wire and screw.
buy one. read it.
then ask questions. or
ask you radio seller.

radios on many cars , have 3 to 5 upgrade options, and are all different.
if you cant even find it how would you post the radio make , , and model number.? and year, of radio, some are upgraded already.

The battery on my renault espace diesel 2001 keeps going flat even though it a new one. what could cause this.

regulator on the alternator or the stator itself, either way itll be easier to just replace it, unless it is the model with the vacuum pump on the back then i would be very expensive, take to auto elec, if only for testing then you can decide wether to fix yourself or leave it with them, any decent joint will grab a multi meter and test it for free, as it is a diesel it does not have spark so you cant do the remove a battery terminal test. the engine will continue running with a bad alternator or not.
