Hi Thomas--
I recommend you use the highest octane available for small engines. Octane is a measure of a fuel's resistance to preignition. Small engines have no mechanisms to overcome a poor fuel's shortcomings, and you could foul pistons, rings, valves, and plugs without knowing it.
--Hope this helps.

2009 ford ranger 4 litre noise sounds like a diesel

It could be several things causing the rattling such as: low octane gas, timing off, or a bad bearing in the lower half of the motor. I'd start with changing my gas to a premium grade and go from there.

My honda accord ex 91 is running exellent since i changed the ignition wires and spurk plugs. it has 107,000 miles, manual transmision. for more power and gas saving, what kind oil motor and gas should i...

With that many miles there is no point in putting synthetic oil in the engine because it will probably be too thin and cause the seals to start leaking. Keep the oil changed regularly (every 3000 miles) and use a brand name 5W-30 grade oil like Mobil1 or castrol. As far as gas goes I would put a tank of high octane gas in about once a month. You can try using high octane all the time but check your mileage per tank on the regular grade and then after you've filled you car about 4-5 times with high grade so you can see if it really is making a difference. Also check your owners manual to see if it recommends higher grade gasoline.

What happen if i change from super to regular gas for nissan sentra 2004

If your car requires premium gas,you really need to use it. Mine also takes the expensive gas,i ran the cheaper gas and could smell fuel inside the engine. I know from experience,my fuel injectors could easily be ruined. The fuel can ruin the o rings and cause your car to miss as well! It`s just not worth the cost of repairs.

Does my 1500 vulcan nomad require regular gas or the premium octain grade gas

regular gas will not hurt your bike but the higher grade you put in it the better it is for it, but it is not a performance motor or a race bike so you will be fine with a lower grade fuel.

What type of gas should I put in my 1998 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series? 87, 89, or 93?

Any regular gas is ok for your type of car. But I suggested once a while when you top up the gas for your car, it is better to top a higher grade gas. Because higher grade gas will have better gas combustion and it help clean your fuel injector. You do not have to top full tank on higher grade gas. I will say maybe about five gallon should be ok.

Would a lower grade gas ruin the coil not the plug, and if so what should I do to make sure it is the coil so I dont spend the money for nothing. where would be the best place to get them new or used?

Nop, a lower grade gasoline has nothing to do with the coil, it may cause knocking, plug could get ruined or mostly, fuel injectors are effected, but in any case, coil does not get effected, hope that u will not throw money for nothing
