That is steam a sigh of a blown or leaking head gasket. For a quick fix can try a gasket sealer you put in the radiator. I do n ot like to do this , but money can be tight may get you by till you can have it fixed. Sorry for your troubles.

BLUE SMOKE FROM AUDI RS6 ON DE ACCELERATION AND START UP THINK OIL STEM SEALS ARE LETTING OIL THROUGH. CAR RUNS FINE I THINK, AND EXCESSIVE BUILD UP OF OIL IN DRIVER SIDE TURBO PIPE, 62000 MILES WITH A...

General rules of thumb: Low speed engine on acceleration with smoke in the exhaust plume = worn piston rings High speed engine accelerating (spooled up turbo) with smoke = oil form turbo bearing and/or piston rings Engine on over run (coasting down, foot off the gas) with smoke = oil from valve guides. VW/Audi make good engines with tight tolerances so none of the above should apply at 62K miles; just make sure that the oil (the right oil) and oil filter are changed regularly.

Removing turbo from audi tt 225 quattrro

Yep, it is possible to get turbo off without pulling engine. I had a TB break at 85000 miles and did the repair at home (2 bent exhaust valves, 1 intake valve). Getting the turbo disconnected from the exhaust manifold was the single toughest part of this repair. It is attached with 3 reduced head socket bolts (appear to made from stainless steel). Eventually had to drive out one of the bolts...

02 Audi a4 losing power

You have blown a turbo charge pipe somewhere, check all hoses...Once this happens the car will begin to run very rich, as evidenced by the black smoke. Do not continue to drive like this, as the raw unburned fuel in the exhaust will clog the catalysts and that can be very expensive.

White smoke billows out of exhaust. I think it is the turbo.

whatch for a clogged crankcase ventilation system. internal crankcase presssure(excessive) will push oil out the turbo shaft seal. also you have a supply line for fresh oil to the turbo and a return line. if the return line gets carboned up and there is nowhere for the oil to go it will push out through the turbo shaft seal.
