We have a Samsung LCDTV (LN32A650A. It has run perfectly for 1 and 1/2 years. Turning it on earlier this week, the screen was pastel snow. Trying it later, hoping it had fixed itself, it came on with red swirls in all the dark areas -- viewable but nor correct. Two days ago, the TV came on with green everywhere -- very psychedelic and almost impossible to watch. We have FIOS cable, but all the other TVs are fine. Again, the TV is barely over one year old. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Before doing anything else, contact your dealer or company and tell them about the case. These days, most of the companies are ready to fix these problems for free, even if the T.V is JUST OUT of the warranty period. But it will largely depend on the pressure you exert on them and the number of phone calls you make.

Sounds like you need to replace the gear drive on the starter. If the starter turns but the engine is not turning you have starter problems.

If my Samsung dryer belt was loose but still turning, will it stop the heat element? Because I had a problem earlier in the week with it heating. I took the back off and noticed the belt was freyed

Yes if the air flow is reduced because of a slipping belt that could cause the heating element to turn off due the temperature sensor being a high input. Remember the motor runs a fan as well as the dryer drum.

Chances are if its making clicks the power supply is bad and you will need to replace it. Which makes sense because constantly powering the tv on and off will damage the power supply or possibly short out your motherboard. These things usually cost about 200 bucks to fix at a local tv repair store.

TV screen went blank and it began clicking, turning itself on/off repeatedly. Had to unplug from wall to make it stop. TV is only 2 years old and has worked perfectly until now.

the power supply board has failed. call 1-800-samsung for nearest service center. power supplies are usually $125.00 plus labor, 1 hour maximum to repair.

yes humidity has been known to make the panel seperate. I live in south tx and work for sony, alot of panels that show that prob is usually the panel seperating. wouldnt recomend to fix to costly around 85% the cost of when you bought it.

the tuner is getting a weak signal and that is why the vertical sync signal is weak and the picture is rolling .check the cable on the back

electric and water are a bad mix as you know my advice to you unplug tv put it in very warm room for about 3/4 days do not plug in hopefully it can be saved.adrian
