Question about Whirlpool LER4634J Electric Dryer
Thanks for using FixYa. It seems to be the belt that has gone bad and to resolve this it should be replaced. Please check this video on how to replace the belt in dryer. Also check the tensioner pulley and replace it. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Hi shirleyb16 - I recommend to get a professional to diagnose the unit for repairs. From what you have described if the unit has a new door lock assembly, then you are going to either have a faulty timer or control board.
