If you have the vent pipe in a chimmney or vented outside wall can cause this problem, need to either put a liner in chimmney or vent insde the room with the heater up thru the ceiling.

Where is the pilot light on the cozy w352e heater? the heater went off and does not go back on when i change the thermostat, and i can't see anything lit when i open it up, so i'm assuming i just need to...

Open the lower panel. You will see a valve with a knob marked On Pilot and Off. This is the gas valve. Turn the knob to Pilot. Push in on the knob and if you are in the correct setting, the knob will depress about 1/2" into the valve. Now look for a red button and snap it in much like a gas grill starter. Keep the knob depressed and look into the small viewing port to see if you started the pilot. Hold the knob for 30 seconds then let it out. You should see a blue flame. If you don't , try it again and hold the knob in longer this time. Once you get the pilot to lite, rotate the knob to the On position. If for some reason you can't get the pilot to stay on, you may need to replace the thermocouple. If the pilot won't light at all, you may need to get into the pilot Assembly with a long match or grill lighter and light the pilot.

Williams Model 435FXR Serial GO222436 Forced air pilot keeps going out

BY THERMISTOR, ARE YOU MEANING THERMOCOUPLE, I.E. WHAT YOUR PILOT LIGHT IS HEATING? IF SO, COULD BE WEAK AND NOT GENERATING ENOUGH VOLTAGE TO STAY OPEN, SHOULD BE BETWEEN 10-25 MILLIVOLTS DC, WHICH CAN BE TESTED AT THE INTERRUPTER LEADS. YOU CAN ALSO BYPASS THE LIMIT DISC TEMPORARILY TO SEE IF THE UNIT STAYS LIT, REPLACE IT IF THE UNIT RUNS.

Pilot will nost stay lit!

you could be right it could be a dirty pilot remove the pilot assembly and clean it has an orifice inside where the gas has to pass through its about the size of the point of a pin so its possible that its clogged, if this doesnt work the thermocuple might be bad

Make sure the gas valve is turned to the "On" position after the pilot stays lit. You may need to replace the thermopile. Some units have a thermopile rather than a thermocouple and it will not allow the gas valve to open if not enough voltage is being sent to the gas valve. Hopefully your gas valve is working properly and will not need to be replaced.
