Question about Dell Inspiron 1300 Notebook
I have reformatted my hard drive and using the Dell restore disks re installed windows XP home edition. However, the @ key has moved to the shift 2 position and the pound symbol has disappeared to be replaced by #. I have run the diagnostics and utilities disk to restore the keypad functions the only one that resembles my laptop is the European version. This has not improved the situation!
Go to the site on net and down-load bios and chipset of the system then installed it on the system.
