Question about Sony VAIO Wireless Keyboard Kit (NEWITEM34666976)

Open Question

I have a wireless Sony/AIO keyboard model VGP-WKB2 that has just stopped working on me. I tried changing the batteries, re-connecting, plugging and un-plugging, restarting the computer and none of it has worked. I was litterally in the middle of typing a word and it just stopped. It didn't even get bumped! PLEASE help. ;_;

SOURCE: Changed batteries in my VGP-WKB2 and it will not

make sure your system has bluetooth available in it -- that allows wireless peripherals to function

if you do not have that, i suggest you contact Sony Vaio to purchase and get the (hardware) bluetooth device installed

Once you have checked the batteries in the keyboard or mouse, then push the tiny little button on the side of the computer around the peripheral plug ins. After pushing that, hit the connect button on the wireless device. They should be re-syncd.

My mouse won't work, even after I changed the battery. Cordless,

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch. Hope this helps you. Bud

When pressing the connect button on the keyboard, you may also need to press the connect button on the USB receiver (I inferred from your post that you are only pressing the one on the keyboard?).

Try the button on both devices at close to the same time and see if that doesn't do it for you and let us know how it goes?

Good luck.
