Question about E-Machines Computers & Internet

1 Answer

The problem that I have with my E-Machine is with the monitor. When I am on the internet the monitor shuts off and sometimes if I am watching a movie, the monitor would be off but I can still hear the sound. My email address is shelia90@hotmail.com.

try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line. Dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems

hope this helps good luck

sometimes your settings through your computer can control this, look at your monitor settings and adjust your time needed for the computer to tell your monitor to shut off.

Singer millennium 5 threadhow to tread the machine correctly

Unable to find anything related to your machine. Is there a Model number besides "Millennium?" Perhaps this will help. Not the same machine, but sometimes they thread alike.

I wouldn't think sensor problem. Need to monitor data to see what is not showing up. Some input to the PCM is not being seen. You need to monitor sensor data to see what disappears, it will lead you to the problem.

No instruction manual for a LifeSource chest/wristwatch monitor -

Not sure that you are talking about a blood pressure monitor or a heart rate monitor.

The blood pressure monitor that you listed as the device you are asking about the manual is here

http://www.lifesourceonline.com/and_med.nsf/html/WEBB6FKQFC/$FILE/UA767Plus.pdf

if you are talking about a heart rate monitor , which it sounds like because those have watches and chest bands that is something different. i would need to know what kind of heart rate monitor it is. A few tips on the devices, you will need to dampen the contacts on the band, make sure you place it in direct contact with your skin, under your pectoral muscle, if you are female then it goes under your sports bra band. i always reccomend jumping on a machine for a little warm up then starting the watch.

I noticed you said that you changed the battery i hope you sent the watch in to the manufacturer to change, sometimes it comes out ok but alot of times it doesn't work there are sensative devices in the watch that can get messed up very easily.

Shutdown

Hmm, could be an overheating problem.

Do you have any temperature monitoring software on your laptop you could use to check the cpu temperature while watching streaming video?

If not try downloading and installing this.

T6420 E-Machine won't/Reboot W/O F8 Key

No sync means no video signal to the monitor. The rest sounds like a corrupted OS. This could be from a number of reasons, including a virus. If you have NORTON or MacAfee, Your open to a lot of attacks. Get AVG free, and use Mozilla instead of IE.
The reason the fans come on full speed is the MB senses a high temp on the CPU, until the bios fan control takes over after POST. This is normal on most systems.
