Remove the battery cover from the top of the mouse
by pressing the battery cover hinge located on the
bottom of the mouse and sliding it off.

How do i put batteries in a staples wireless mouse

On the one I have, you put your thumbnail or letter opener at the back of the mouse right below where it says "Staples," at the point, and lift up. It's on the top of the mouse, and it is a little "door."

Replacing battery

Need a screwdriver. Unscrew the back of the mouse. Usually there's a compartment where the battery is isolated.

How to open logitech mouse to change battery

If it is a Wireless mouse then the battery compartment should be it the bottom of the mouse (the flat part) All you should have to do is push or pull the latch open and then you should see the old battery, replace with new battery then put latch back on.

Mouse will not charge when put in the base

I have a very bad solution about this, but it works on my mouse that also doesn't work. Try to put a tiny bit of water ( or spit Oo ) on the little, usually copper, receivers on the mouse. That makes for a better contact. Just get your finger wet and touch those receivers.

How do I charge or charge the battery in my Logitech Mouse?

The batteries are under the area where you palm rests. They usually open with a slight pressure pushing back on the upper case. Like openning a cell phone. Depending on what model you have they could be either AA or AAA batteries.

I have a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and i need to change the battery. I cant find any latch or button to open the mouse to put new batteries in it! I looked on the MS site and found nothi

There is actually no release button on my 5000. Between the white on-off button and the bluetooth synch button there is a finger notch. If you put your index finger in the notch (pointing toward the base of the mouse you can put your nail under the lip and the batter compartment opens right up. There is a horizontal slot in the battery cover - trying to pry that open does not work. The whole thing is well-cloaked but surprisingly easy when you figure it out!
