Question about Mitsubishi WS-55313 55" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
This is a nice set but there were a few problems to watch out for. When you say the picture is fine that leads me to think you have an issue with coolant leaking. If you disconnect the power from the set for thirty seconds then plug back in, the set should reboot. Green light flashes for 70 seconds then you can turn it on. If it does this, the power supplies are okay. If that doesn't clear the problem, then you need to disconnect the power and remove the speaker grill. Then take off the access cover in between the speakers. Using a powerful light look at the circuit board between the two tubes on the right hand side. Usually this is where the coolant starts to drip down from the reservoirs above. If you see any liquid or drops coming from beneath tubes please do not continue to use television. This is more than likely the cause of the problem. Many times the set can be repaired for this. Sometimes ,however, it can destroy the set. Let me know if I can be of any more assistance. Good Luck, Russmann.
