It is possible that when you edited the pictures on your computer, that you might have changed the file format when you resaved them.

Check the names of your picture files on the computer and compares the endings (.JPG or .BMP or whatever) between new pictures that come directly from your camera and pictures that you have edited and resaved.

If the formats are different at all, then your camera will probably not be able to read them. Cameras usually save pictures in one specific format and can only read them if they are in exactly that format. A computer on the other hand is much more flexible and can usually read or save pictures in many different formats.

Your computer should give you the option of saving a picture file in a different format if you want. When you edit and save the pictures on your computer next time, use the SAVE AS feature, this should give you the option of changing the name of the file as well as the file extension from a drop down list. Then just try saving the picture files in different formats until you find the one that your camera can read. Or just look in your cameras Owner's Manual and find out exactly what format the pictures need to be in for the camera to recognize and display them from a memory card.

Good luck.

Possibly, but you may no longer be able to view them on your camera. If you hadn't saved your pictures to your computer yet, try to do so. If your computer also has a problem seeing the pictures, you may need to use recovery software (see this link). Finally, after you've saved your photos to your camera, you should format the card in your camera to rejuvenate the card. If prompted to format your card by your computer, don't do it. It uses a different file handling structure than your camera.

You've subjected the card to two different operating systems. You need to decide on one. If it's the camera, then download any pics you want to save from the card...then with the card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.

Camera will not read memory card

Your camera is only supporting SD/MMC Cards (up to 2 GB)

The card that you currently have might be faulty. Please try another card.
You might also need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.1: Menu, Cam settings, Chose AUTO or SD card option Press OK
Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.

When i take a picture it wont save on the memory card? and the pictures saved on the camera wont copy to memory card either. everytime i try and copy the pictures it says no file to copy.

THe memory card is either to large for the camera, or needs to be formatted. Put the memory card in a laptop or other card reader and inspect what is on it; save the contents and then reformat the card for the camera by running format.

Turn the camera on and activate the menu. Look for a menu option similar to "Image Storage" and either choose the card or auto. Save your choice and exit the menu. You will most likely have to format the card. Again, activate the menu and navigate to the FORMAT command and format the card. The camera must format the card, not a computer. Now when you take photos, they will be saved to the card.

Believe that may have not formatted the card in your camera when you first got it. A non-formatted card may work well at first, but often can eventually result in symptoms like your experiencing.

The first thing you need to do is to save your photos to your computer from the card. You'll need an SD card reader to do this. If you don't have one already, get one, they're cheap:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_st?keywords=card+reader&rs=172282&page=1&rh=n%3A172282%2Ck%3Acard+reader&sort=price

After you've saved your pictures, you'll need to format your card IN YOUR CAMERA. Reinsert the card in the camera. Put the camera in picture review mode. Press the Menu button. Select the tools menu, and scroll down to the selection showing the card's memory capacity. Select it, and select OK for format. NOTE this will totally erase the card, so again save your photos first before doing this.

Help with kodak M753 camera and memory card!

If you format the card, the pictures are gone leaving you with a blank memory card.

Format the card in your camera, then load it up in your computer and see if the cycle goes away.

Once you get a picture on the memory card and in your computer, keep an eye on the memory specs reporting on the computer and see if there is anything unusual. I've heard of a few defective cards but its rare.
