I have a honda 50 2007 and i took apart the carb cleaned it thoroughly, replace the on off valve and sdpark plug. it ran great for a couple of days. now it starts first kick runs for a minute or so then...

sticky float needle- run some seafoam through a tank of gas- also check for vacuum leaks as the petcock on bikes with a petcock are usually vacuum operated off engine vacuum.. if disconnected or leaky- that will starve the engine once the fuel in the float bowl is used up.

You may have gotten dirt from the bottom of the tank up into the fuel line. Try changing the fuel filter. If that is plugged it will be starved for gas.

Car shuts off as if starved of fuel remove fuel line and prime car starts

There's a fuel pump relay that turns on the fuel pump, as you turn on the ignition before the engine starts, to prime and pressurize the injectors. I'd check the relay it may not be operating.

Check the ignition module, and fuel pressure when the trouble is present. Those are the two things on Neons that cause this problem

Car Starts but wont go.

It could be a couple things. There may be a vaccuum leak in the fuel system such as a bad EGR or PCV valve or the throttle position sensor. I'm leaning towards the throttle position sensor needing replaced. The throttle position sensor reads how far you're pressing on the gas peddle and then feeds that to the computer telling it how much gas to feed to the engine. If that sensor isnt working right then your car will get enough gas to start and idle but will starve for gas as soon as you try drive and will then stall.
