To initialize ALL parameters to factory defaults: With the unit OFF, press "Skip Rev" ( |<< ) and "Time Slip" and "Open/Close" for 5 seconds.
will self check, say test L1, power off, on again.. go thru setup. no data was lost.

Follow this sequence on the remote control:
Press FUNCTIONS/To Others/Setup/Others/Clock to access the clock setting mode. There, you will have the choice of Auto or Manual. Take your pick and away you go!

The timer and the schedule memory (and its activation) are kept active by the power source of the unit. In your case the source is no longer delivering the stable voltage the memory circuit and the processor needs to keep the data stored and processed - a sign that the source has aged and its components, mainly the filtering capacitors, will have to be replaced by a repair shop. You must take the unit to one, there is nothing else you can do to it.
