Hi Same thing has happened to mine. Did the noise stop when you opened the fridge door? I have been told that it is the motor and will cost around £45 to replace (supply only). Hope this helps

Samsung fuser units are very suceptible to voltage variations and get damaged easily. The fuser's thermofuse probably got damaged and became unable to read temperature. The only way to get it fis is to replace the fuser in an Authorized Service Center (ASC). Your unit has a 1 year complete warranty coverage by Samsung and any real ASC without charging you.
After the unit is fixed, get a good transient surge suppresor to help protect the unit. Good luck.
