If you can't see a printer icon in your system tray; 1. Start > Printers and Faxes 2. Right click your printer and select "Open" 3. Remove all items from the printer queue If you can see the printer icon in your system tray, do as above to get to the queue (right click the tray icon and either select the appropriate queue option if it has one, or click Open to get to it). If you cannot see anything in the queue but it's doing it anyway, you can usually clear the printer queue from the printer itself (depending on the make and model, the method of doing this will vary (consult either the manual, or the online documentation if you are not familiar with how to do this) - for my own I have to go to the main menu, then Maintenance).

If you are using xp click on start , then control panel, then printers and fax, double click and a small window will open showing all of your print jobs. Click on the farthest left item (on mine it says printers) then it comes with an option to cancel all print jobs, click that. I hope this helps. If that first item does not show it click on all of the options at the top till you find the one that says cancel all print jobs.

My printer keeps printing the same page (which was sent to print ONCE 2 days ago) again and again. Have disconnected and recomnected printer and do not know what else to do

1.)Go to the control panel and double click printers and faxes. 2.)Right click on the printer that is installed and view the printing que, in other word the jobs that it was commanded to perform. Delete or stop all printing jobs. This should hopefully end the serial printing printer!!!!

Thanking you!

When I finnish printing it keeps on printing and i cannot stop it

First thing you need to check is if you are using the right printer driver. Printers emulate in different languages. If this is a Panasonic printer you can press the Print Key and access the Job Control, the Job Queue, then print, then enter 0000 and delete job.

Very, very slow printing

I don't know the make/model of the printer, but I can mention a few possibilities.

1) If your printer is set for PostScript (PS) language, versus PCL , it normally takes longer to print.

2) If this printer is fairly new, check for old Printers installed that are no longer connected to the computer/network. See if there are still print jobs in the queues. A missing printer with jobs still in queue will keep polling the system and eating up processing time.

3) If this printer is a laser printer, it may have to wake-up and warm-up before printing.

IPF will not print from PosterJet

in order to find out what is going on you have to print direct from the windows printer driver (print a test page) and come back.

Adjusting printheads - won't stop and keeps printing blank pages

Hi Did you have any print jobs sent to the printer before replacing the printhead. It seems that the printer is trying to print a job and since the usb cable has been disconnected and reconnected the printer is printing blank pages or misc text.
