Question about Senco DuraSpin DS200 - AC Screwdriver, 1" to 2"

Open Question

Hi i am a plasterboarder of five years. Just recently bought a ds2000 110 v senco and the screws seem to be missing occasionly. I have found this a problem with one i purchased three months ago as well and wonder if there is a design fault? I have used the roduct for the last five years as i think it is the best tool for the job! I have contacted thye company i bought it from and they are trying to rectify the problem with senco! Not having a fully working tool is costing me money through no fault of my own and ask if there is anything tht can be done by yourselves to ensure i receive a product that is 100%? I am happy to have a rep come out and see the product in use to try and get to the bottom of it!! Jonathon

SOURCE: Senco 701xp, I press to nail and get a air hiss as low nails

the problem is in the safey area of the gun, it could be the safety is only partially pushing in (what is sounds like) also, the track may be dirty and need lubed. Spray WD40 on the track and up the nose.

Also, check the thumbscrew on the back of the track by the handle and make sure the track is pushed all the way forward and tightened up

You don't state what your problem is with this nailer but here are some facts about this line of tools. There were five or six Accuset nailers & staplers put out by Senco and they were on the market for about six months. They weren't a very good tool and most were recalled. I have been in the pneumatic tool repair business for over three years and the only place I've found parts is on www.toolpartsdirect.com, but what they have is getting more and more limited.

How do I adjust the depth of the nails? I have the Senco FramePro 601.

Most senco nailers have an adjustment on the lower safety. Usually one or two screws allow foot to extend. Others framers have a thumb wheel on the side or under the trigger. If the adjustment is all the way out and the nail is still setting too deep, then fault may be with the lower bumper. If the bumper is breaking up, the driver will set the nail too deep. Remove head and pull the piston, if the bumper is missing pieces or cracked, replace. Good luck

i have the same problem, bought five different screws from five different hardware stores including home depot, lowes, ace and mom an pops. Nothing seems to fit and hampton bay's website is a joke. And my fan is only about 3-4 years old. Hate to throw a perfectly good fan away over somethin as petty as this but.... looks like we're gonna have to bite the bullet bro. 70 bucks down the drain over 2 dollars screws. Wont be dealing with hampton bay anymore.

Looking for a diagram or schematic for a senco fp18

I have a SENCO FinishPro18 that I inherited from my son when he died a year ago. It has worked fine till now. It does not shoot a nail when depressed against a board and I pull the trigger. I don't hear air leaking, but it seems there is little pressure. Having taken apart the head, then the base, it all seems in good shape. I have not taken apart the trigger assembly, as the removal is a total commitment. Thoughts? I could use some help.

the 5-way switch breaks it's solder connections on several Kodak models. if you have a soldering iron with a fine tip and are comfortable working on small soldering joints it is possible to repair the joystick (there are 10 solder connections on a 1/4 inch square switch, 3 on two sides and 2 on the other two sides)

I-mate jam sound prob.

I get a similar problem on occasion, my IMATE JAM loses sound through the external speaker. I'm sure it's something inside but it's not worth sending out for a repair. I've found that simply inserting a set of headphones and then removing a set of headphones, resets the speaker. This leads me to believe that the problem (on my unit) is with the headphone jack, probably from a fall of some sort. The device, on occasion, simply acts as if a headphone is plugged in. Anyhow it's worked five times over the past year, each time the problem has occurred.
