Hello,

This is likely to be as a result of your processor over-heating,

maybe because of your environment, or because the fan is not

cooling the processor properly again.

Therefore my suggestion would be for you to unscrew your laptop

(If you can do it by yourself), and try to clean, or better still replace

your processor fan.

Also clean the air-vent where air is supposed to enter the laptop

If you cant do it by yourself, you can easily get a technician to do

it for you.

Also, remove all your RAM(Memory Sticks), and clean the tip of

the connector with an eraser, and re-insert it one after the other.

That is, if you have two of them, after you insert the first one, put

on your system and see if it works, then do the same thing with

the other one.

If the two of them works, them insert the them all. but if it is just

one that worked, just remove the other one that is not working and

replace it.

If the two of them are not working, then try to get a ram of the

same type to test it with, either from a friend or a technician.

I have actually had the same case before, and after doing what

I've just told you, it stopped behaving like that.

Then always make sure that your laptop is in a well ventilated,

cool environment and that the environment is free from dusts.

Kindly let me known how it goes after you've tried this.

Hope this helps you out.

Goodluck!

My computor shows a blue screen when switch on please tell me wats wrong.

blue screen is a hardware issue. it could be anything plugged in inside. if you know how to strip a pc then you have to start taking things out and trying to boot. start by unplugging anything you have plugged into the back and only leave keyboard and mouse in. try to boot. then try taking out any cards plugged into the board. try to boot.if there is only the basic components left and it still wont boot you will have to get it checked out by an expert ( unless you have these parts as spares then swap them over 1 at a time and trying to boot each swap ) something on your board has gone and you need to track it down

My laptop is on but the screen is blue and won't go to the desktop

A Mac that shows you a blank blue screen instead of logging you in may be afflicted by a malfunctioning startup item. Most people have a number of programs that start up whenever you log into your computer, and it's likely that one of these programs is causing issues. The startup item is unable to load, and so it causes the rest of the computer to hang.
In order to get your Mac past this hanging blue screen, you need to boot into safe mode and figure out which startup item is causing problems. The Apple Support article "I see a blank blue screen when I try to start up my computer" tells you exactly how to go about this procedure. Basically, you must remove all your startup items and add them back in one-by-one, rebooting each time until you find the one that causes the hanging blue screen.

get a hirens boot disk. that will fix ya right up. boot from the disk. choose either option boot windows xp mini or from boot disk. do not choose the option boot from hard drive or you will get no-where.

I was playing online games on my sony vaio. Suddenly I got blue lines on the screen and the laptop stopped responding. So I tried restarting the laptop but I get blue thin vertical lines before the laptop...

Blue thin lines before it boots will rule out an operating system or driver fault. So it would appear something in the machine has failed.
Do you have a VGA monitor you can connect to it and see whether it shows the fault? This will show that if the fault also shows on the external monitor, it is likely an electronic fault on the main board, whereas if it works on the external monitor but not on the built-in monitor, my guess would be the cable that goes from the main board up through the hinge of the screen into it, or a connector, or an actual fault with the LCD display.
Windows booting normally once the display drivers were disabled indicates to me that Windows is no longer detecting the faulty display and therefore boots normally - possibly pointing to failed electronics in some way. It could even be corrupt BIOS that controls the video or something along these lines, though that's unlikely.
Good luck, either way it sounds like it's off to a computer repair shop. Is it under warranty?
