Question about Nintendo Wii Console

1 Answer

Wii GAME STARTS/STOPS

Your game may be scratched or damaged call Nintendo and if your console is less than one year old they should be able to set it up for repair.

Console is less than a month old and this is the only game with the issue. Is a console repair indicated? I will contact GameStop and Nintendo for returns info while awaiting your feedback.

Thank you, LosAbuelos

If it is just the game disks that are the problem go to gamestation or other gamestores and they relayer the disks for you
for a small fee of course

My Wii will not Play GC games. It tells me "Unable to read disk, Check operations manual". Game has no scratches and my Wii is about 3years old. Plays Wii games just fine so I don't know...

Check your serial number on your Wii. If it starts with KU, it can't read them. If it starts with LU, and it's ONLY GC games it won't play, then your system needs to be repaired.

Out of warranty repair cost is $85 plus tax for America.

WII, WILL NOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET, COMES UP ERROR CODE

Are you able to play one type of Game Disc but not another (for example, you can play Wii Game Discs but not Nintendo GameCube Game Discs)? If so, then it is likely there is a problem with the Wii console and it will need to be repaired.
  • Check the bottom of the Game Disc (the side without any labels or writing) for any dirt or damage (such as cracks, scratches, etc.).

    • If the games look significantly damaged, such as with scratches or cracks, it will need to be replaced. If the game looks dirty (fingerprints, smudges), try cleaning the Game Discs
    • "Error has Occurred" - With all games
    • It appears there is a problem with your Wii console and the system will need to be repaired.
