Question about Nokia E63 Cell Phone

1 Answer

I can't get my radio to work - I thought it might be a problem with the headset but that's working fine. I can view all the stations but I can't hear anything.

The walkie talkies work fine, but they do not work with the headsets on. They came with headsets.

Three thoughts: You could be plugging in your headsets with the radios turned on, or your headsets are not fully plugged in all the way, or you have a VOX (voice activation setting) set incorrectly. Note: With any audio device the radio should be turned off when plugging in or unplugging. When audio jacks are new sometimes it is difficult to get the plug pushed in all the way. Feel for a slight click to know your plug is completely in the jack.

The fm radio in my phone does not work properly anymore

The radio will work only if the headset or earphones are plugged in.

Try increasing the volume in radio or check whether its in mute condition

Logitech X-240 Sound Problem

I live in the Netherlands and i hear radio from UK, Russia and other languages. It's true it's in evening. Weather here now are rain in thunderstorm, i thought thunderstorms maybe could be the problem. Yesterday evening i heard nothing of the radio station. Hearing that radio staions is against FCC rulles. So it's possible to complain about it to radio stations. Im going to contact Logitecht tmorrow about this problem. I keep you updated.

have you tried changing the radio station. I had this problem and just changed the station on the radio remote and the radio itself.

I can hear the radio on the phone

I have two of the 2541YRE3 units (where Y is a 3 or 4) and both pick up the local 1620AM radio station. Good to know it's only in the handset. I tried swapping the handset and cord with that from the 2540YRE3 model (which does not suffer this problem).

But, I have no solution. I am getting them replaced by finding 40Y models where I can.

Cannot hear anything out of the earpiece of my GN netcom 9120 wireless headset

I was also experiencing the same problem (also after a power failure / storm) -- apparently good battery charge, connections ok, etc. I then tried removing the battery from the headset itself, waited 30 seconds, and then reinstalled the battery. This seems to have resolved the problem.

It is fairly easy to open the clamshell, but you will need a very fine Phillips screwdriver to remove the battery hold-in (it's really not a hold-down, it just keeps the battery in place. Reassemble the same way -- be sure to keep positive to positive and negative to negative.
