You can't get any of Microsoft office for free. but you can download openoffice, that is opensource and its free. or you need to buy Office 2007 or office 2010.

I bought a new laptop and I can't use WindowsOffice 2007 because I don't have a product key for MicrosoftOffice Home and Student.Help me!

HI There

Microsoft Office is a commercial suite, and the keys or codes are not for free. On most laptops (and some PC's) Microsoft office comes pre-installed with a trial version of 90 days trial. Thereafter you have to buy the lisence.

An Alternative to Microsoft Office is Open Office, available free from the site

Hi i purchase an acer laptop a week ago and cant get a product key for microsoft

Usually the software on a new computer is a trial and after the trial period will stop working ,what you will have to do is buy the program and install the key from what you had if you don't want to pay the 2-3 hundred dollars there are alternate programs that will do the same things for free

and another one is Open Office

Removed my microsoft office word 2003 from my laptop as i was creating space on c: drive. I need to restore it

Use your MS Office installation CD and install MS Office again.
If you have lost the installation CD and the product installation code then you have a problem.
MS Office is not a free program.
You will need to purchase a copy of MS Office to get the product installationkey.
For an alternative free program, OPEN OFFICE is a full-featured officesuite that's compatible with Microsoft Office.
If you want Open Office you can download this free program. Click on this link to download :- You can download a 60 day free trial of MSOffice 2010. Click on this link to download :-

I baught an acer laptop and it is asking me for a product key for microsoft office? how do i find my product key?

What you had until now was a trial install. If you still want it you need to buy it and Microsoft will send you a key.
If you don't want to buy it then uninstall MS Office and replace it with the free Open Office.

Does your laptop come with a pre-installed version of Microsoft Office? Or maybe with a "starter" version? If it does, you can simply insert the Office CD that you have and install it, it will need no key. If you don't have a starter version, then you should buy a Microsoft Office package, or you can also download Open Office, it's a free software and it's exactly the same as Microsoft Office, the newest version is even compatible with Office if I'm not mistaken (NOTE: Word is part of Microsoft Office)

I want to use the microsoft word in my laptop but i cannot use it because i don't know the product key.

If your PC came with the full version of Microsoft Office the product key should be in with your original paperwork. Unfortunately many PC's ship with a trial version of Office - if it's asking for a product key your trial period has likely expired.

You may be in luck if you have Microsoft Works installed - it's essentially Office Lite and has a fully functioning word processing software. It will even allow you to edit original Word documents.

If you don't have Works installed there are many free office suites available for download - the most popular being Open Office - downloadable here
