Any CD-R will play, if your player is picky about the recorded discs, make sure you record it at a very low speed. 2X is optimal but very few actual recorders support such speed, try the lowest one. Also use high quality discs like Verbatim, the best ones have a blue background on the record side.
you need to buy cd-r's/cd-rw's marked "COMPACT DISC DIGITAL AUDIO" you may have bought cd-r's for use on a PC only as these can't be used on a home audio recorder unless they've been prerecorded on a PC. hope this helps?
Classic Electronics CDR201 CD Recorder. When I go to record and insert a blank CD into my recorder, no matter what I try, I receive the directive NO DISC. I also need a user's manual for my recorder. Can anyone please help?
the classic cdr201 will not record it will go to wait and return to cd status(blank cd etc) there is no led display of sound during this operation you can hear the audio for brief couple of seconds before it goes back to cd mode
