My MW3337 read error

Sometime when I turn on my MW3337, it said error and everything went to 000:00:00. I try to turn it off and on again, but the same thing occurs. On some other time, it works perfectly but when I try to switch the track, it read error again

Check this link for troubleshooting for the MW3337; http://www.gpx.com/faq_prod.php?id=487&sub_cat=105&model=MW3337 Most of the issues depend on which operating system and which version of media player you are using. post back with that info if you have problems yourself, I think something on that page should explain and hopefully solve your problem; You can also contact GPX from this link; http://www.gpx.com/vw_contact.php Hope this helps :)

DON"T TURN IT ON AGAIN UNTIL YOU KNOW IT IS COMPLETELY DRIED OUT!!!!

Sometime electroncis can be salvaged if they are not turned on again until after they are dry.

The electrolytes...(sugars, salts) can cause the electric current flowing through the device to arc accross connections causing a short. It may be too late to save your iTouch, but for the future if you can dry out the device before trying to turn it on again with a blow dryer or napkins or whatever you have handy it may save it.

Try drying it out and then turning it back on...it may or may not work as the damage may have been done already.

I hope this helps you in the future. Good Luck!

The difference is that when you have your device on MTP mode, its recognize as a Portable device...You cant modify the settings on MTP mode...When its on MSC mode, its recognize as a disk drive...thats when you can modify the drive files..to change the mode..go to menu, settings, USB mode and there you should find the MSC and MTP mode..Hope that helps
Please rate accordingly.

It won't let me play my music!

no worries. there may be a read error. if it still connects to your computer fine download all of the files, movies, mp3, mp4 etc back onto your computer. once you have done this go into the file holding all of the mp3's and set the file to show details and look for a mp3 that is the incorrect file size... in general comparison to the other files. also if the device came with software look around for a restore factory settings button or wizard, and once the device is completely clear restart it and reload the files back onto it, remove the device (safely) then switch it off and back on and then try it out again. hope things work out bro.
