Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Desolder out the horizontal output transistor, and now power on the set. If the set now powers ON, replace the horizontal output transistor. It is faulty. [Collector to emitter or collector to base leak]

I have a crown xls602 with no audio. Speaker and power relays activates normally, signal leds palpitates with input but no sound. Appreciate any help. Thank ou.

- Use your favourite search engine (Webcrawler is dandy) and type your question/info into it.
- SEARCH ENGINES ARE YOUR FRIEND!!! Type in keywords and check the results.

- I'm not an expert but it almost sounds like maybe a speaker relay or whatever on the amp has bailed out.

Good Luck :)

One side dead

hi zm_16dec,

Right chanel fully dead , output transistor burnedout ,

Without knowing the make and model of your amplifier

all i can advise is to replace the unknown part number of

the transistor.

Look for the working left channel output transistors and

replace the bad transistors in "pair". These may include

other components but check on it as well.

Check the speaker system, especially where that channel

is connected.Inspect speaker wires or cable up to the speaker

itself.

Amplifier wont blow without reason. It could be from the wirings,

speaker or volume settings of the unit.

Thanks for choosing Fixya for assistance!

Replace all the capacitors connected to the horizontal output section. Especially capacitors connected to the collector of the horizontal output transistor.

One of my outputs does not work at all, the other works fine, when i go to bridge it doesnt word even not. How can i find out what issue i must repair, can it be the Si-PNP 250v 16a 250w

hi,
First of all you have to check The positive and negative 95V in the collector pin of all output tansistors. There should be +95V in the all collectors of MJ15024 and --95V in all collectors of MJ15025 poer the output transistors of faulty channel.ANd tere should be +/-- 0.5 volt in all output transistors base pin. All emitter pin should be aproximatly 0V. If not then you have to check the tansistors Q13 to Q16 and Q17 to Q20. Also the driver transistors Q9, Q10, Q11,Q12,.
If you need the schematic diagram that i will sent it to you.
ok

Blows fuse when turned on

this is a normal behavior if one of the power supply transistors have blown. take the unit to an enlectronics repair. they can either change the transistors affected (usually more than one) or replace the power supply board.
