Question about Canon iRC3100 Printer

Open Question

Hi I have an error E000067-0100 on my canon IR 3100C. I have checked the various messages here and people explain that it could be the drum / sensors..... I am prepared to tamper with the machine and to clean the sensors etc, but I have no clue where the sensors are and how to remove the drum itself. Can anyone explain that to me. I appreciate any help I can get. thanks

Canon IR C3220N--error code E000020-01b0

Hi,

If the drum units have been removed repeatedly without the drum guide service tool it's possible to break one or both tabs .These tabs open the toner hopper when the drum unit is slid in, and if they are broken, toner will not be fed into the drum unit.
NOTE: The unit may work for a while until the developer to toner ratio drops enough to cause an error.

IR 3100 error. E020-01A9, E020-02A9,

E020-01A9 Error Code : iR C3100 Series
Hi there
I have looked it up and what it says about it I have put down for you so you can gave it a try hope it works for you.
Approved
Symptom
E020-01A9 Error Code.

Cause
For ATR control, the detected Toner/Density ratio exceeds the lower limit (3%) 3 times continuously for Yellow

Action
The ATR Sensor and Patch Image Read Sensor both determine toner density. Depending on the density readings the copier will or will not add toner. Check the status of the Drum Unit under COPIER>DISPLAY>MISC>DRUM-LIFE. The Patch Image Read Sensor looks at a patch of toner that is generated on the drum for each colour and determines the amount of toner that is in the patch by the amount of reflected light. If the drum is not creating the patch correctly, the patch reading will be affected. Replace the Drum Unit if it is 80% of its rated life or higher. ..
