Question about Flat Panel Televisions
I have a 42plasma with a bad power supply. Screen was just black when I turn it on, so I was advised to get another power supply. I did and just swapped them out and now I am getting a real dim picture.
Power supplies, while one of the most unreliable Asian electronic assemblies, generally are OK when new,
The previous supply may well have failed because of a more serious internal problem, likely related to the high voltage supply plasmas need.
Your new supply may fail very soon if this is the case and you will need a hands-on tech to diagnose the problem.
