Hi, my challenge is my computer (toshiba satellite a105 running windows xp) will not load windows OS properly after the loading bar. I can however, I can reach the system utilities and/or safe mode. I've tried most options in safe mode and still nothing changes. I would very much be appreciated if you have a suggestion or a fix. Thank you,

Windows is corrupted , Since you have no idea what software/malware caused that it will be extremely difficult to fix it blindly.
The best way then is to reinstall, Go into Safe Mode and recover all your files then boot from your recovery disk and during the install procedure, select the Full Format option.

Toshiba Satellite A105 problems

Sounds like a program is not loading properly. You should try to load in Safe Mode, And see if it starts properly. If it does you then can do the diagnostics to find which program is trying to load and shuts machine down. You may also try starting in step by step and catch it right away. Depending on your version of Windows you are running you may be able to restore to a previous time when your machine worked right. Good Luck and have a good day.

Toshiba Satellite A105- S54014

Press F8 function key several times as the computer turns on and when you get a list of options select Last known good configuration the press the Enter key.
If Windows then boots up properly then re-install the latest Windows Service Pack (SP3 for XP, SP1 for Vista).

If all fails then re-install Windows.
