Tammie,

Do you have the Restore CD's? I think this is the only way to do a restore to "out of box state". You will need to put it in the cd drive and reboot the computer. Once it boots to the cd, follow the prompts to do a complete system restore. Please follow up with me should you require more help or if the steps above do not work.

How to factory reset my toshiba nb200

Well, to get the operating system back to factory settings and back to its original out of the box state, simply go to 'help' menu under 'start' menu, and type in 'recovery'. Recovery will get the computer back to its original state when you opened the box and powered it up for the first time.
An image of this state is located on the hard drive of the computer.

If you want to restore back then you should have a recovery partition to check it press F10 when you turn on the system. If you have the recovery partition it will take you in and from there you can select any recovery option. (destructive or non destructive)
If there is no recovery partition on the system then you need a disc which you can easily get by calling toshiba it will cost u around $12.

IS there any factory seeting hidden in TOSHIBA

On some models of TOSHIBA laptops you can access the system restore partition by tapping on the 'zero' (0) during boot.

This will erase EVERYTHING on your drive and reset it to a "out of the box" state. So be sure to back up anything you want to keep before doing a system restore.
