Question about Acer Aspire 3050-1733 Notebook

I was cleaning out my computer a bit in "add or remove programs" and accidentally removed the realtek audio device. I have no sound or sound icon. Is there a way I can get it back or download a new one?.

Download the drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure you select the model of your laptop and the XP or Vista version of the drivers you that require and it matches the Windows version that is installed on your laptop. Use this link to get to the Acer support: -

How do I fix my realtek speakers? They play sounds and music but while doing so the sound icon in the taskbar is showing movement from bottom to top with sound increasing as it goes upwards?


Open Device manager and right click on "Realtek HD Audio"
Select 'enable'
Right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and select 'Playback devices' ensure that Realtek is checked as the default speaker device
Right click alongside the speaker icon and make sure they are not disabled
Use the 'Test' facility to check the audio
You may have to update the driver as well

You will need to visit the Compaq website and download the audio drivers for your computer. The audio drivers can also be found on the CD disk that came with your computer.
When on the Compaq website click their downloads/support button and search for the audio drivers using the model number of your computer.

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers or uninstall
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand,system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
if you dont have a motherboard disc you will have to download the drivers

Have you tried these drivers? They are for Microsoft Windows XP.

No sound after re installing windows msi motherboard and realtech soundcard (built in) installed all drivers many times over, in device manager all devices show up, speakers are on, volume up and plugged...


if you can see volume icon in the status bar then your sound drivers are installed, if not then follow the following steps

No audio


Open your computer then boot to safe mode(press F8), go to add/remove programs then uninstall the toshiba audio driver, also check on the Device Manager if it is still there then uninstall it. Reboot the computer to normal mode then install the toshiba audio driver again. Be sure to have the correct driver downloaded.

Hey its is problem with drivers
Please follow the steps to resolve :-
1)Download the UAA drivers first from microsofts site
2) Download the Latest drivers from
http://www.realtek.com.tw/
PCI drivers + Latest Audio drivers
3) windows installed 3.0 / 3.1

4) now go into Add / Remove programs and uninstall the previous version on Realtek drivers also remove windows installer if available

5) now restart your systems

6) Now installe the windows installer first -> restart

7) now install the UAA drivers -> Restart

8) now install the Realteks latest version -> restart

If it does not solve your problems please do reply i have other trick too..::.. :-)
