well looks like that game had any sort of virus that corrupted other files too. try to remove the virus by getting your ds scanned via pc

please download this freeware, Combofix and do the scanning. Remember to plug your pendrive into you PC as well.

Remember not to click on anything when the program is scanning. Wait until it show the report in Notepad. If it pop up and required to restart your PC, please to so.

the most common antivirus available are AVG,AVIRA,KASPERSKY etc.you can download the free version from the respective sites.among this i fell that you can remove it using the AVG 8.THE TROJEN MAY BE AFFECTED FROM INTERNET OR FROM THE INSTALLED SOFTWARE.try them

I would remove Spy Sweeper and Trend Micro. Then I would install the free versions of AVG, Ad-aware 2008, WinPatrol SpyBlaster and ScrubXP .

I have been using this combo for years and have had no problems as long as you keep them updated.

ya previously when your system was have that funny scandal,smss.exe,and autorun.inf virus it was effected to your mobile also ....
as i told previously those virus will be infected which ever memory device you connect to pc ...

so i think after removing threats some file which was needed for that operation is deleted ...
just check your whole pc for virus again it might have got infected by those files again ...
if not then right click on that drive and then give explore ..
i think there is a file named autorun.inf in that delete it ..
after restarting your system it will work ....

Go into Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs. Wait for the list of all programs to load up.

Go down through the list and look for Norton Internet Security. Remove it. It will take a very long time, sometimes 1/2 hour or more depending on speed of computer. Reboot the computer after it has been removed, especially if/when it asks you to reboot after the process.

After rebooting, go back into Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Look for Symantec or Norton's Live Update, remove that as well. Also remove any other Symantec/Norton Anti-Virus or Internet Security programs as well. Then reboot the computer again.

Your computer should be much, much faster now. So now you need a new Anti-Virus program...

I've found in my experience that Norton and McAfee do more damage to some computers than good, besides the fact that they are severely over-priced. I would NEVER install either Norton (Symantec) or McAfee on anyone's computer. Matter of fact, I just had to remove Norton 2008 from a lady's computer today, an old Dell 2400 because her system was too old and slow to run new Norton.

My suggestions for much better anti-virus would be...

- Kaspersky Anti-Virus (search for it on Google, etc)

- Trend Micro PC-Cillin Anti-Virus (search for it on Google, etc)

- AVG Free Anti-Virus at http://free.grisoft.com, they also have more elaborate versions with more protection for a cost.

I personally use AVG on my computers, and my family does as well. It's very effective and gets out viruses that even Norton cannot remove.

Go to http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm and run the scan. If it finds a virus then try to remove it. If it cannnot remove a virus it finds then call Microsoft and they will help you remove the virus. You have to run a virus scanner and determine what virus you have first though.
